In military jargon the term D-DAY is used for the day and hour on which a combat attack or operation is to be initiated...
June 6, 2014 became our historic parallel to open the doors at D-DAY, and Woodstock NY became our headquarters.

Tucked away in the Catskill Mountains, where there are endless trails, swimming holes, waterfalls and mountains~ D-DAY wanted to extend the riches of the area and offer a provocative selection of fine goods made by us and a few talented friends and designers hiding out locally.

D-DAY is owned and operated by Asa Warshafsky and Jodi Busby.

Asa was born and raised in Woodstock transplanted to Tokyo and back, where he was known for his avant garde accessory designs while working with Yohji Yamamoto, BVBA 32, Bernhard Wilhelm, and numerous others.

Busby spent her formative years in NYC honing her jewelry and accessory designs; selling to Barneys, Colette, Browns and Beams with accolades from The New York Times, style.com, Vogue, Purple, I.D.and Face Magazine.

Together they design and make most of the wares for D-DAY and have created a small jewel-box of a shop in the middle of Woodstock.

A fiercely independent town, Woodstock was known for being one of the first utopian artist colonies in the US and over the years has been home to many fine artists and musicians, and only 2 hours from NYC.
